4. Švandovo divadlo

Making diverse, inclusive theatre the norm
Branding Identity

Švandovo divadlo, founded in 1973, is one of the most recognized Czech theatres. Despite its long history, it is considered to be a dynamic contemporary scene with plays based on unusual themes, which make one ask questions and reflect on the present time and everyday life.

Inclusivity is one of the main pillars of the theatre. It invites audience to participate in the theatre experience through a dialogue. Theatre also offers programme for deaf and hard–of–hearing people, as well as plays supported by English subtitles.

The alignment of the four arrows in the logo creates a sense of place that spreads to all directions — it conveys not only the strong idea of inclusivity but also the constant efforts for improvement in terms of technical equipment, interaction with viewers, the quality of plays, the range of topics the theater covers.
